There are changes in the staffing of the Association’s Executive Committee as follows:


Retired Chris Ellice; work now contracted out to bonzomedia, role now part of Social Media.

Retired Diane Donnelly; replaced by Kim Bourne.


Retiring December 2019; replaced by Mike Ryan from January 2020.

All three retirees have given long and loyal service to the Association and tributes to their work feature elsewhere: on this Website, on Facebook, to come and personally.

Barrington “Badge” Bailey (RAMC 1958 to 1986), sadly passed away on the 5 August 2019. His Funeral will be held on Friday 30th August at 13:30pm at Cheltenham Cemetery and Crematorium and afterwards at the Royal Oak, Prestbury for those who would like to pay their respects.

The RAMC Association

William Boog LeishmanIn 1925, the RAMC Association was formed to further the camaraderie of WW1 Corps veterans with Sir William Leishman being the first President. There are now some 28 branches around UK with a predominantly veteran membership although most serving Corps members also are members centrally. The Association has traditionally been supported by Corps Funds and especially for the expenses of the branch standards and standard bearers.
