A Community That Lasts

Who We Are

The RAMC community is based on a simple idea. People who have served together, and those who have cared for others in the toughest situations, deserve a place to belong even after their service is over.

Two organisations work together to support this community.

Support & Welfare

The RAMC Charity

The RAMC Charity (registered charity No. 1129091) is the legal and financial foundation of our community. A Board of Trustees runs the charity, which was set up in 2007 to bring the Corps’ funds together into a single group. Its main goals are to support the Association’s national activities and to help past and present Corps members and their families who are facing hardship. If you are struggling and need help, please reach out. The Charity is here to support you.

Community & Membership

The RAMC Association

The RAMC Association has been the home of the Corps community since 1925. With branches all over the UK, it brings together veterans, serving members, and anyone who has been part of the RAMC family. Members share fellowship, friendship, and pride in what the Corps has achieved. Each branch organises its own events, social gatherings, parades, and welfare activities, so there is probably a local group near you.

Membership is open and welcoming. If you have served with the RAMC, served alongside us, or are serving now, you can join. All current RAMC members are already included.
