RAMC Charity
Providing welfare and financial support to members of the Corps community when it matters most.
Our Community
This Is Your Association
The RAMC Association was founded in 1925 by veterans of the First World War who wanted to stay connected after their service. For over a century, it has been the home of the Corps community. The Association exists for a simple reason: people who have served together and cared for others in the toughest conditions deserve a place to belong even after their service is over.
You can find that sense of belonging here.
Community & Connection
A Community, Not Just an Organisation
Across the United Kingdom, local branches bring the Association to life. They organise social events, dinners, parades, and remembrance ceremonies. They also support members who need help. These branches are run by people who have served, for people who have served, and their care and commitment go beyond what any formal structure can describe.
At the national level, the Association is led by a Management Committee and a National Chairman, who is also a Trustee of the RAMC Charity. The Charity supports the Association’s national activities and helps members and their families who are facing hardship.
Membership
Who Belongs Here
If you serve or have served with the RAMC, you are welcome here. Medical personnel from the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force, partners and spouses of members, and those who have served with RAMC units in other corps are also part of our community. All current RAMC personnel are already members.
No matter why you have come to this page, we are happy to have you here. Use the links above to find your local branch, read the latest news, learn about our history, and see all that the Association offers.
