RAMC Benevolence

Support may be available for past and present members of the Corps and their families.

The Charity

The RAMC Charity

The RAMC Charity provides the legal and financial foundation that makes much of the Association’s work possible.

The RAMC Charity, registered as number 1129091, was created in January 2007 when the Corps combined its different funds into one organisation. Its main goal is to support the Royal Army Medical Corps community, both as a group and as individuals, especially in times of need.

What It Does

Supporting the RAMC Community

The Charity has two main roles. One is to fund the RAMC Association’s work across the UK, helping it serve its members. The other, more personal role, is to offer support to Corps family members who are going through tough times.

If you served with the RAMC, even for just seven days, and now face financial hardship, health problems, disability, or the challenges of aging, the Charity may be able to help. The same applies if you are a dependent of someone who served. You do not have to be in crisis to ask for support. If life is difficult, please visit our benevolence page. Support is available, and you have earned the right to ask for it.

How It Is Run

Governance & Trustees

A Board of Trustees from across the Corps community oversees the Charity. It operates as a company limited by guarantee, and its accounts are published every year.
