Whether you were Regular or Reserve, 18 or 80+, you’re part of the RAMC family and the RAMC Association wants to hear from you.
First, some good news. The RAMC Association now has over 1,000 members. At the end of 2024, that number stood at 650. In just over a year, membership has grown to 1,013, a 56% increase.
That growth reflects a real and growing appetite across the Corps community to stay connected, and we are grateful to every one of you who has joined or renewed.
We’re not getting carried away. We know there is more work to do and we want to grow this community even further. If you know someone with a connection to the Corps who isn’t yet a member, please point them our way.
This has to be a group effort.
Numbers only matter if membership means something. That’s why we’re looking at how we can better support our members at a local level.
A couple of things worth knowing:
- If you took out a life membership before 2008, you may think you’re still on our books. Unfortunately, the rollout of JPA meant all pre-2008 personnel data was lost. That’s not ideal, and the current Association is working hard to put it right.
- What does that mean for you? It may simply be a case of checking your membership status with the National Secretary. We’d much rather have you in than out, and it gives us a chance to make sure your contact details are up to date too.
- If you’d like an updated membership card, there is a cost of £6.40. To be clear, that isn’t a rejoining fee, it just covers the cost of the card itself. If you already have one or don’t need one, it should just be a quick membership check.
- And it’s not just for those who served. Your family can sign up as Associate members at the same cost.
Don’t lose touch with your Corps community. Head to the RAMC Association website and check your membership or sign up today.
It only takes a few minutes.
